Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What should I wear?
Come as you are! You will see everything from “Sunday best” suits and dresses to casual jeans, shorts, and sandals and even flip-flops. We care far more about having you with us than what you wear.
Where do I park?
We have convenient parking spaces adjacent to the main sanctuary off W. Wisconsin Avenue. Accessible parking spaces and ramp access are located right near the main entrance for easy access.
What is the worship service like?
Our worship follows the liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer. If you’ve never attended an Episcopal service, don’t worry about getting every detail right—our bulletin includes step-by-step guidance so you can follow along comfortably. We stand to sing, sit to listen, and sit, stand or kneel to pray as we are able.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely! We love to see and hear babies and children in our worship services.
- 9:00 AM Service: Includes a dedicated Children’s Service tailored for young hearts and minds.
- In the Pew: Activity bags and books are available at the back of the church to keep little hands busy during worship.
Can I receive Holy Communion?
Yes. All baptized Christians—regardless of denomination—are invited to receive Holy Communion at God’s table. If you prefer to receive a blessing instead, simply cross your arms over your chest when you come forward.
Stay for a Cup of Coffee!
Don’t rush off after worship! Immediately following both the 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM services, we gather right next door in Canterbury House for coffee, light refreshments, and fellowship. It’s the easiest way to meet our clergy, connect with parishioners, and get a feel for our community.
