Youth
Daughters of the King
Daughters of the King is an international Christian order of women and girls who desire a closer walk with the Lord. For more information or to submit a prayer request. Contact Judy Ochse.
Youth Acolytes
Youth Acolytes help lead worship by carrying crosses, torches, banners, and the Gospel book, and by assisting with incense at special services. Students in grades 4–12 are warmly invited to join. Contact Will Miles.
Worship through Music
Come lift your voice with us at St. Barnabas as we sing cherished hymns and uplifting contemporary music together.
Children’s Choir
Children in this choir learn music theory, singing techniques, handbells, and leading worship through music, sharing gifts at services and special celebrations all year. Contact Children’s Choir Director, Beverlee Hays.
Adult Choir
The Adult Choir provides music for the 11 a.m. service, and also sings for special services, such as Lessons and Carols. If you are interested in singing with us, contact Tom Dewitt, Organist, Choirmaster.
Handbell Choir
Throughout the year, our handbell choir brings beautiful harmony to 7:30 and 11 a.m. services. No music-reading needed—come ready to learn, or invite us! Contact, handbell Choir Director, Becky
Carillon
St. Barnabas’ carillon bells ring each Sunday, on school mornings, and daily at noon and 5 p.m. To arrange the bells for a wedding or funeral, please contact Becky DeWitt.
Contemporary Worship Team
Every Wednesday morning, our Contemporary and Middle School Worship teams bring incredible enthusiasm to chapel. If you know a student at St. Barnabas School who would love to be a part of this team, please contact our Contemporary Music Director, Rachel Nune

Altar Guild
The St. Barnabas Altar Guild lovingly prepares and cares for the altar for worship services, baptisms, weddings, funerals, and seasonal flowers. If you would like to share in this meaningful ministry, contact Jeanne Rasi, or Make a gift of altar flowers.
Lay Worship Assistants
Want to serve during worship? Lay Worship Assistants enrich our services by reading Scripture, leading prayers, and, with training, serving as acolytes or chalice bearers at Communion. Contact Deacon Nancy.
LEV – Lay Eucharistic Visitors
Licensed Lay Eucharistic Visitors bring communion on Sundays to parishioners who are sick or home-bound.
Ushers
St Barnabas ushers warmly greet you, hand out bulletins, collect offerings, and assist during Communion, and appoint folks to bring the elements up to the altar. Want to serve? Contact Sims Kline.
Community Outreach Support Groups
Community Dinner
On Wednesday nights we serve free meals at The Bridge, located at the Neighborhood Center. If you are interested in donating or helping to serve, contact William Brown.
Kairos
Kairos is an international organization ministering to incarcerated men and women worldwide. St. Barnabas volunteers witness tremendous spiritual growth. Contact Morgan Gilreath.
Alzheimer’s Support Group
The St. Barnabas Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group ministers to the caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. For more information, contact Lorna Lind.
Hospitality Committee
When a St. Barnabas member or family member passes away, Hospitality Committee hosts a reception offered by the priest or deacon for family and guests. Contact Pat Strub.
Samaritan’s Purse
Through Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child, St. Barnabas Church and School donate gift boxes to children in need. These shoeboxes filled with gifts for children are brought to the Altar during an in gathering at the end of November for International distribution.
Prayer and Healing Ministries
Order of St Luke
Our Order of St. Luke Healing Ministry teams are available at the side altar during communion at all three Sunday services. Please join us if you would like prayers for healing, thanksgiving, or intercessio
Sanctuary Candle
The Sanctuary Candle, beside the altar, reminds us that the Blessed Sacrament is reserved in the tabernacle. You may offer the candle in memory of a loved one, in thanksgiving for a special blessing or anniversary, or as a meaningful gift. Make a memorial gift offering.
Prayer Shawl
Our Prayer Shawl Ministry hand-knits and crochets shawls filled with love and prayers. We gift these to anyone facing illness, recovery, or confinement, as well as those celebrating their Confirmation.
